First off, I managed to get my hands on an unreleased copy of MC 1.8. I'm not releasing how I got it, but it is INDEED real. Anyways, while I was exploring the new creative mode in 1.8, I came across a village (which is what I was looking for). I went into the village (which is currently unoccupied as there are no NPC's) and built my house. I also gave the houses "owners" and named the village.
